What a special person Elaine was, always happy and ready to enjoy a good laugh whether that was over cards, coffee, drinks, or a campfire with family and friends. I always admired Elaine, her style, decorating skills, sense of humor, and she always seemed so understanding of people and practical in her viewpoints. There were many hours spent at Melvin and Elaine\'s growing up. It was always a great place to be. My sincere sympathy goes out to you, Priscilla, Suzanne, Dennis and Sally, and your families. I know you are missing her greatly.

To the family of Elaine, The Jones and Reinig family go back a long time. Jim was a neighbor to Melvin and attended school with both Elaine and Melvin. Our friendship was always there. Memories of visiting, card playing, going to Pilot Knob tobogganing, and having hot chocolate are just a few. In the last few years, we were able to have a glass a wine and share what great families we had and what they all do for us in our later years. We are going to miss your mother. Your family will be able to reminisce for years about her

It all began this fall when I substituted at Prairie View for Linda Arnold as Activity Coordinator when Elaine and I got to know each other better. She enjoyed my activities until Linda returned. After Linda’s return, she looked forward to my weekly visits as I brought her groceries. We shared a few good laughs together each Monday for a few minutes. I’ll miss her smiling, happy face. She is a very special person!!! Please accept my sympathy and remember the good during this hard time.
