Thank you all for your loving thoughts and prayers. Mother passed away "easily" in her sleep with that crooked little smile on her face that we all remember. She was at peace with herself, the world and her God. She asked that we have a Commitment Service at the Clarion Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. That will be held on Saturday, May 30th. Notices will be published in the Derrick. I would love to see or hear from anyone who wants to come, share a memory, and celebrate LaRue's life.

Rachel, I don't know if you remember me or not but Marie Beichner was my mom. She and LaRue were class mates and good friends. My mom always enjoyed phone conversations with your mom. I can visualize the 2 of them, up in Heaven, meeting and having a long visit and enjoying each other's company. You have my deepest sympathy. Losing a mother is something that you never get over. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of mine and miss her and it will soon be 2 years that she passed away. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Pat Magness
