GARNER - David J. Hueneman, 41, of Garner died early Sunday morning, December 15, 2013 from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle accident southwest of Garner.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, December 19th at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Garner with Rev. Scott Kozisek officiating. The family requests casual attire at the service. Burial will be in Concord Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 P.M., Wednesday at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel, 160 E. 4th St., in Garner and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
David Jeffrey Hueneman, the son of K.J. and Karen (Brand) Hueneman, was born October 19, 1972 in Mason City. He attended Garner-Hayfield Community Schools. David worked at IMT in Garner, Hueneman Farms and most recently at Pringnitz Custom in Garner. On September 27, 1997 he married Mollie Finn in Clear Lake. They lived in Garner until 1999, when they moved to the family farm southwest of Garner. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and driving his truck.
David is survived by his wife, Mollie, of Garner; four children, Ashley, Zachary, Trevor and Jake; his parents, K.J. and Karen Hueneman of Garner; four siblings, Victoria Hueneman (Bob Cramer) of Rochester, MN, Rick (Pammela) Hansen of Burleson, TX, Chastity (Jed) Hemer of Waverly and Heather Hueneman (Grant Abele) of Garner; his mother-in-law, Linda Finn of Garner; brother-in-law, Kelly (Julie) Vedane - Finn of Rogersville, MO; paternal grandparents, Ed and Irene Roth of Clear Lake; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, David Michael Roth; maternal grandparents, Albert and Edna Welshans; paternal grandparents, Elmer and Lois Huenemann; and grandmother-in-law, Marie Ellingson.
