Harry S. Halvorsen

Harry S. Halvorsen, 92, of Mankato, MN, formerly of Forest City, IA, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato. Memorial Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Forest City, Iowa. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery in Forest City, Iowa.

He worked as a farmer, in sales of fertilizer and seed corn, and as a real estate broker and appraiser specializing in farms.

He is survived by children, Harriet Ramy (Jim Moritz), Lois Halvorsen, Allen Halvorsen (Kim Carroll), Timothy (Linda) Halvorsen, and Mary Oudekerk; grandchildren, Valorie Peterson, Charles Ramy, David Ramy II, Shari Baker, Michelle Burns, Sandy Ramy, Teresa Bjork, Kristine Steinkamp, Benjamin Halvorsen, Genevieve Halvorsen, Daniel Halvorsen, Samuel Oudekerk, and Hannah Oudekerk.
