Shane A. Zahn

Shane A. Zahn, 56, of Garner passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.

A celebration of life will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M., Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Mat's Place in Garner.

Shane Alan Zahn, the son of Paul and Jane (Duffy) Zahn, was born March 8, 1964 in Iowa City. He attended Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School and graduated from Metro Alternative School. Shane moved to Garner in 2009 with his son, Jordan. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and mushroom hunting.

He was a great father and honest man. He will be missed by many.

Shane is survived by his son, Jordan of Garner; mother, Jane Zahn of Cedar Rapids; and three brothers, Shawn, David and Rick Zahn.

He was preceded in death by his father.
