Carolyn Joy Aman, 59, of Forest City, died, Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Lake Mills Care Center.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Forest City, with Pastor Eric Weaver officiating.
A gathering of friends and family will be held 5-7 P.M. Friday, October 14, 2016 at Cataldo Schott Funeral Chapel, 505 North Clark St. Forest City and also one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Carolyn Joy Aman memorial fund that is at Titonka Savings Bank in care of the family.
Carolyn Joy Aman was born July 22, 1957 in St. Paul, MN the daughter of Herman and Lois (Dunning) Wiese. In 1975 she graduated from high school in Randolph, MN. She was married to Dale Charles Aman on August 14, 1978 in Austin, MN. She was currently employed at Winnebago Industries before her illness prevented her from working.
Carolyn was a member of the First Baptist Church in Forest City and worshiping there and her church family.
She enjoyed the time she spent with her family and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Carolyn embraced the multitude of friends she had and always was a huge believer in laughter.
She was survived by her husband, Dale Aman of Forest City; siblings, Betty (Arlo) Revier of Oak Grove, MN, Bill (Anna) Brown of Pine City, MN, Dick (Linda) Brown of Eagan, MN, Art Wiese of Cannon Falls, MN and Susie (Burt) Koukol of South St. Paul, MN; sisters-in-law, Kathie (Jon) Ostrander of Thompson, IA, Jody (Tim) Wolfskill of Albert Lea, MN and Karen (Dale) Hansen of Morgan. MN; the dog, Rudy; and many nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents; Herman and Lois Wiese and siblings, Jim Brown and Grace Parker.
