Cheryl A. Johnson

Cheryl A. Johnson, 65, of Waterloo, formerly of Garner, passed away Friday, October 12, 2024, at the PIllar of Cedar Valley in Waterloo.

A private family service will be held at the Britt Zion Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be at the Corwith Cemetery.

 Cheryl Ann Johnson, the daughter of James and Glenda (Eppens) Johnson, was born May 15, 1959, in Britt. She attended Corwith Community Schools until 1974 when the family moved to Garner. Cheryl graduated from Garner-Hayfield High School in 1978. She lived in Garner and worked for a time at Winnebago Industries in Forest City. She later moved to Waterloo. Cheryl enjoyed watching movies and TV shows, especially Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

 She was a member of the Britt Zion Church of the Nazarene.

 Cheryl is survived by her mother, Glenda of Britt; three brothers, Kevin (Penny) Johnson of Keizer, OR, Aaron (Patricia) Johnson of Campbellsville, KY and Darrell Johnson of Britt; two nephews, Jonathan and Jordan Johnson; and three nieces, Emily , Lauren and Sally Johnson.

 She was preceded in death by her father, Jim in 2021.
