Delores M. Ingersoll

Delores M. Ingersoll, 90, of Garner, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Carriage House Assisted Living in Le Center, Minnesota.

A private family funeral service will be held at Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Garner with Rev. Brian Lund officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Plymouth, Iowa.

Delores Mae Ingersoll, the daughter of Joseph and Lena (Santero) Rios, was born January 14, 1935, in Brule, Nebraska. She moved with her family to Garner at an early age and graduated from Garner High School in 1953. She was employed a Goodnature’s Clothing Store in Garner as a bookkeeper for 42 years. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, her pets and spending time with her grandchildren.

Delores is survived by her children, Laurie (Sam) Athanasiou of Garner, Ken (Pam) Russell of Le Center, MN, Jeff (Laurie) Dahle of Britt, Kevin Dahle of Benbrook, TX and Shelly (Brad) Frein of Garner; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Lou (Ron) Snater of Arizona and Rosalee Severson of Jefferson, IA; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen Ingersoll; sister, Deanna Wolford; and grandson, Jeffery Dahle.
