Donna Mae I. Roberts

BRITT – Donna Mae I. Roberts, 79, of Britt died Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Hancock County Memorial Hospital in Britt.

A memorial service will be held 10:30 Saturday May 9, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Woden with Rev. Kim Peterson officiating. Inurnment will be in Bingham Township Cemetery south of Woden.

A memorial visitation will be held 5 to 7 Friday at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel, 310 Main Street, in Woden.

Memorials may be directed to Hancock County Relay for Life.

Donna Mae Ida Roberts, the daughter of Albert and Gertrude (Kaske) Rundle, was born April 26, 1936 in Madison, SD. She graduated from Madison High School in 1955 and then worked at a grocery store in town. On April 7, 1957 she was married to Loren Roberts in Madison. They made their home in Madison until 1965, when they moved to a farm north of Britt. Donna was employed at Winnebago Industries in Forest City for thirty-two years, retiring in 1999. She enjoyed crafts, woodworking and spending winters with Loren in Tucson, AZ.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Madison, SD.

Donna is survived by her husband, Loren, of Britt; daughter, Mona (Denny) Buns of Woden; grandchildren, Rayshel (Cody) Witte and Thomas Buns; great-grandchildren, Coen, Embree, Tayten and Trinlee Witte; a sister, Jeanette Neuman of Long Prairie, MN; a brother-in-law, David (Mary Ann) Exe of Albuquerque, NM; a sister-in-law, Terry Schultz; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, Ray and Emily Roberts; three brother, Walter Schultz, Clarence Rundle and Darwin Rundle; a sister-in-law, Lynn Exe; and a brother-in-law, Harold F. Neman, Jr.
