Jimmie Dale Nielsen

Mission, Texas - Jimmie Dale Nielsen, 69, of Mission, Texas peacefully passed away in his home on January 9, 2014. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Methodist Church, 305 South Clark St., Forest City, Iowa with Pastor Chuck Layton officiating. Upon his wishes he was cremated and there will be no visitation. Inurnment of cremains will be held in Madison Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Jimmie D. Nielsen memorial fund in care of the family.

Jim was born June 19th 1944 in Thornton, Iowa, to Emma Lee Nielsen and the late Martin Nielsen. Jim is survived by his mother Emma Lee Nielsen, his wife Karen Nielsen, his one brother Mickey Nielsen, three sisters and their spouses; Sherri and Mike miller, Linda and Ron Haugen, Mary and Kevin Swanson, two sons Todd Nielsen and wife Leslie Nielsen, Tim Nielsen and three stepchildren, Jesse Bryant, Stephanie Carlson and Brandi Bryant. 7 grandchildren and one great-grand daughter.
