Lynn Aljean Hill, the daughter of Al and Marie (Buckles) Pyatt was born July 28, 1945 in Garden City, Kansas. Lynn grew up in various towns around the West due to her father's career as a radio announcer and manager. Lynn was married early on in her life and to that union her first three children were born, Kelly Shane Goodwin, Christy Lynn Hill, and David Heath Hill. In September of 1970 Lynn married David L. Hill. Her fourth child, Kassie Marie Hill, was born and completed her family. Shortly after, they bought the family farm West of Leland on a hill. The farm brought her along with her husband, David, and all her children great joy, hard work, laughter and memories. Lynn loved the mountains of Wyoming where she was raised but she loved Iowa dirt. She could grow anything including vegetables, animals, friendships, and children. The sun and wind in her hair as she was in the garden, on the hayrack, or just sitting on the porch was something she relished every day. Lynn loved to learn and never stopped throughout her life whether it was school or books. She got her high school diploma and then went to Waldorf College and graduated magna cum laude with an art degree. She was well known for her exceptional artistic abilities and her willingness to share her talents with others. She spent many years serving others. She was active in 4H, Leland Woman's Study Club, VFW Auxiliary, and numerous groups, organizations and events. She always supported whatever her husband, children and grandchildren were involved in.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, David Hill of Leland; four children, Kelly Shane Goodwin (Gail) of Rexburg, ID, Christy Lynn Hill Miller (Shawn) of Victor, ID, David Heath Hill (Debbie) of Buckner, MO, and Kassie Marie Hill Steen (Allan) of Leland; nine grandchildren, Matthew Shane (McKenzie) Goodwin , Parker Steven Rogeness, Claire Ellen Goodwin, Duncan Alexander Hill, Katie Anne Goodwin, Nicole Ann Steen, Devin Michael Hill, Levi David Rogeness, and Madison Donn Miller; sisters, Joyce Marie Casey and Kayne Pyatt both of Evanston, WY; and many nieces and nephews.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Mary Jo Pyatt, Jackie Louise Keller, Albert Buckles Pyatt, and Ruth Ann Ballinger.
