Randy Lee Weaver

Randy Lee Weaver, 60, passed away comfortably and peacefully, in his own home on February 19, 2019.

Randy was born in Buffalo Center, Iowa on April 20, 1958, to Richard (DicK) and Darlene Weaver. He was one of three children. Randy was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Randy graduated from Buffalo Center High School in 1976 and attended DMACC college in Ankeny, Iowa, graduating from there in 1978. He worked at Interstate Motor Trucks of Mason City, Iowa for the past 13 years enjoying the company of his fellow co-workers and customers. Randy enjoyed helping his family and friends in any way that he could. His pride and joy were his wife, kids and grandkids. Randy was always able to crack a sarcastic joke and make people smile and laugh even during hard times. He was an amazing person who is greatly loved and will be deeply missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Weaver, his children, Ashley (Weaver), Ryan Query and Cody Weaver, his grandchildren, Aiden and Kylie Query, Brayden and Connor Weaver and a granddaughter on the way. He is also survived by his two sisters Patti Fiderlick and Kathy Arends and other family and close friends.

We would like to invite family and close friends to attend a memorial at his home, 345 North 7th Street, Forest City, IA, to pay respects on Friday February 22, 2019 from 12-3:00 p.m. Cards can be sent to this same address.

If we could write a story,
It would be the greatest ever told
Of a kind, loving husband, father and grandfather
Who had a heart of gold.

We could write a million pages
But would still be unable to say
Just how much we love and miss him every single day.

We will remember all he taught us
We are hurt but won’t be sad,
Because he’ll send us down the answers,
And he’ll forever be our husband, father and grandfather.
