Sandra E. Chute

Sandra E. Chute, 87, of Garner, formerly of New Port Richey, FL, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026 at Concord Care Center.

Sandra Edith Chute, the daughter of Robert and Marjorie (Lamb) Hall, was born on November 6, 1938 in Avondale, Rhode Island. She graduated from Westerly High School in Rhode Island. On November 29, 1958, she was married to David Chute at the Avondale Church. They lived in Rhode Island, North Carolina, and Florida. Sandra worked as a secretary for an Admiral in the U.S. Navy in the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C. until her retirement. In 2021, she moved to Garner to be closer to her family. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and reading.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in New Port Richey, FL and the Coast Guard Association.

Sandra is survived by her two sons, David (Megan) Chute of White Bear Lake, MN and Christopher (Emily) Chute of Garner; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David; parents; and two daughters, Darlene Chute and Lori Darrow.
